«En Roc sense cap» is the children's story by Mercè Canals Ferrer, published by Publicacions de l'Abadia de Montserrat in hardback (28 pages, in Catalan).
Roc is such an absent-minded boy that everyone warns him he'll end up losing his head. One morning, sure enough, he can't find it. Hiding it, he manages to get to school without his mother, his friend Emilia, the teacher Ofèlia or his friend Iago noticing. A humorous story about acceptance and overcoming difficulties.
Fourth instalment in the Premi Mercè Llimona collection, with drawings by Òscar Julve. First edition published in Barcelona in 2010.
Aimed at children; due to its brevity and illustrations, it is suitable for reading aloud.
