«Els narradors de la nit» is the novel by Rafik Schami published by RBA La Magrana in paperback (200 pages, in Catalan).
In ancient Damascus, Salim, an elderly coachman and great storyteller, suddenly goes mute. His seven friends tell him a unique story each night before dusk; these tales, like a magic carpet, open the door to imagination and may restore his voice.
This volume is number 95 in the «Otros La Magrana» collection and corresponds to the Catalan translation of «Erzähler der Nacht», a work by Rafik Schami originally published in 1989.
Suitable for readers interested in Catalan literature, frame narratives, and stories set in ancient Damascus.
Rafik Schami is a Syrian-German author, storyteller and critic.
