«Els músics de Bremen» is the traditional tale by Jacob Grimm and Wilhelm Grimm, published by Cruïlla in paperback (16 pages, in Catalan).
Four animals too old to work —a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster— decide to go to Bremen to become musicians. On the way they find a cabin where some robbers are holding a feast; to scare them off, the animals sing from the window so out of tune that the robbers flee in terror.
Part of the «Vull llegir!» collection, adapted by Núria Font i Ferré with illustrations by Xavier Salomó; text in capital letters for first readers from 3 years old.
For boys and girls starting to read in Catalan, as a first approach to traditional tales.

Jacob Ludwig Karl Grimm, also known as Ludwig Karl, was a German author, linguist, philologist, jurist, and folklorist. He formulated Grimm's law of linguistics, and was the co-author of the Deutsches Wörterbuch, the author of Deutsche Mythologie, and the editor of Grimms' Fairy Tales. He was the older brother of Wilhelm Grimm; together, they were the literary duo known as the Brothers Grimm.
