«El viaje íntimo de la locura» is the first novel by Roberto Iniesta Ojea, published in 2009 by El Hombre del Saco in paperback (368 pages, in Spanish).
The story begins with a cherry tree in the garden that seems dead: life, tired of its apathy, has gone on holiday, and the tree, consumed, ends up as a wooden skeleton stuck in the ground, waiting for it to return. From that image, Iniesta weaves an existential fable with the direct language of his lyrics.
Roberto Iniesta Ojea, known as Robe, is a Spanish composer, writer, singer and guitarist, founder and face of the rock group Extremoduro.
