«El vas de plata i altres obres de misericòrdia» is a short story collection by Antoni Marí, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (128 pages, in Catalan).
The book brings together fourteen vignettes about the adolescence of its protagonist, retrieved from memory: Sunday outings, the desolation of a friend's death, the first trip away from home, the vertigo of a prank, and the excitement of the first days of vacation.
The book belongs to the El Balancí collection (no. 242) and received in 1992 the Premi Ciutat de Barcelona and the Premi Crítica Serra d'Or de Contes i Narracions.
