«El sistema Boone» is the spy novel by Percy Kemp, published by Tropismos in paperback (324 pages, in Spanish).
Harry Boone, a British agent stationed in Beirut, prefers a quiet life away from his superiors. A counter-terrorist operation to extract an informant from the Israeli service disrupts his routine and leads to unforeseen consequences. A cynical spy plot, with double agents and political manipulations.
The novel was originally published in English as «The Boone System»; this Spanish edition features a translation by Thomas Kauf and belongs to the Negro collection from Tropismos.
For readers of spy thrillers and crime fiction, with echoes of John le Carré, Eric Ambler or Frederick Forsyth.
