«El silencio del bosque» is the suspense novel by Tana French, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (557 pages, in Spanish).
In 1984, three children enter a forest on the outskirts of Dublin and only one reappears, terrified and with no memories. Twenty years later, the sole survivor is Rob Ryan, a homicide detective: the discovery of a dead girl in the same forest stirs up the past he has spent years trying to leave behind.
First installment of the Dublin Murder Squad saga, translated by Isabel Margelí Bailo; original title: In the Woods.
For readers of crime fiction and suspense: the plot combines a murder investigation with the detective's past.
