Synopsis of El sí de las niñas
El sí de las niñas es una obra de teatro del dramaturgo y poeta español Leandro Fernández de Moratín, publicada en 1806. La obra critica los matrimonios concertados y defiende el derecho de las jóvenes a elegir a sus esposos. Moratín, neoclásico por raciocinio y por criterio artístico, reivindica el derecho de los jóvenes al matrimonio por amor y no por imposición familiar. Desde un tono de bondad amable, El sí de las niñas es un alegato contra los métodos educativos de la época en los mismos inicios del siglo XIX, hecho por un autor dramático que, por ilustrado, trataba de educar desde las tablas.
