«El señor de las moscas» is the novel by William Golding, published by Alianza Editorial (251 pages, in Spanish).
The story follows a group of British children who, after a shipwreck, are left isolated on a deserted island. What begins as an attempt to organise themselves and maintain civilisation turns into a struggle for power and violent acts. Through a strong symbolic charge, Golding reflects on the fragility of social order, the loss of innocence, and human nature.
Novel originally published in 1954; this Spanish edition is from 2002.
