«El secreto de Hitler» is the biography of Adolf Hitler written by Lothar Machtan, published by Booket in paperback (432 pages, in Spanish).
In this biography, Lothar Machtan addresses Hitler's hidden life and argues that his homosexuality was decisive for understanding his personality and political activity. The book analyses his male love relationships, some with strange endings, and the blackmail to which old friends subjected him, leaving him exposed to the fear of being unmasked.
The subtitle is «La doble vida del dictador»; it was published in the Divulgación collection (no. 3040) and translated from German by Juan María Madariaga.
For readers of biographies and twentieth-century history interested in an unusual thesis about Hitler.
Lothar Machtan is a German historian, writer, as well as professor of Modern and Current History at the University of Bremen.
