«El profesor» is Frank McCourt's memoir, published by Maeva Ediciones in paperback (296 pages, in Spanish).
Frank McCourt recalls his thirty years as a high school teacher in New York, from starting to teach at 27, newly arrived from Ireland and feeling unprepared. Rather than imposing his authority, he listens to students and learns from them, turning teaching into a lesson in humanity.

For readers of memoirs and stories about teaching, and for those who want to complete Frank McCourt's autobiographical trilogy.
Francis McCourt was an Irish-American teacher and writer. He won a Pulitzer Prize for his book Angela's Ashes, a tragicomic memoir of the misery and squalor of his childhood.
