«El Principito» is the children's story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, published by Salamandra Infantil y Juvenil in hardback (96 pages, in Spanish).
A pilot stranded in the Sahara Desert meets a boy who says he comes from another planet. The Little Prince recounts his travels across various asteroids and his encounters with characters who embody adult behaviour, in a reflection on friendship, love, responsibility and the meaning of life.
Work originally published in 1943 as «Le Petit Prince». This edition reproduces the author's original watercolours.
A work of children's and young adult literature with a philosophical undertone that also resonates with adults.
Antoine Marie Jean-Baptiste Roger, vicomte de Saint-Exupéry, known simply as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, was a French writer, poet, journalist and aviator.
