«El pasadizo del deseo» is the crime novel by Dominique Sylvain, published by Suma de Letras in paperback (312 pages, in Spanish).
In Paris, a robbery at a bureau de change on the Champs-Élysées coincides with the murder of a young woman in the Passage du Désir. Though they seem unrelated, the police investigation gradually links the two cases, with the city as backdrop and a portrait of its passions and secrets.
First instalment of the series featuring former police superintendent Lola Jost and American Ingrid Diesel. Translated by Sofía Tros de Ilarduya. Winner of the Grand Prix des lectrices de Elle.
Dominique Sylvain is a French novelist specializing in crime fiction.
