«El Noveno Clon» is the science fiction novel by Wes Craven, published by Ediciones B in hardback (368 pages, in Spanish).
A sinister conspiracy seeks to confer immortality on a select group of scientists dedicated to the US military arsenal. Doctor Peter Jance, brilliant but terminally ill, works against the clock on a unique weapon, while his colleague Frederick Wolfe, a dark genius, has discovered the secret of immortality. Wolfe plans to transplant Jance's brain into the body of Hans Brinkman, a Swiss executive created some time ago from a clone, but the memory of both will end up altering the project's fate.
First novel by Wes Craven, film director known for «Pesadilla en Elm Street» and «Scream», originally published as «The Fountain Society» in 1999.
Recommended for readers of science fiction thrillers and for followers of Wes Craven's horror narrative, who here brings his obsessions to the novel.
