«El manubrio lila» is the children's mystery and detective book by Ursel Scheffler, published by Editorial el Pirata in hardback (128 pages, in Spanish).
Each chapter presents a different case for Inspector Caramba. At the end, a question turns the reader into a detective, and the coded solution can only be read with the magnifying glass included in the book. A suspicious musician, a thief in pyjamas and a cheating breeder are some of the characters in these stories for practising reading comprehension.
Fifth instalment in the Inspector Caramba series, with 45 illustrations and a super-detective magnifying glass attached to the bookmark.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 12; schools have a teaching proposal for working on reading comprehension.
