«El Evangelio secreto de la Virgen María» is the religious essay by Father Santiago Martín, published by Edaf in paperback (260 pages, in Spanish).
Starting from the scarce mentions of Mary in the Gospels, the book answers questions such as her life before the Annunciation, the pregnancy before her consummated marriage to Joseph, the flight to Egypt, widowhood, and the death of Jesus. It offers a human and spiritual vision of the Virgin as someone close who already went through those experiences.
First volume of the collection «Obras completas del Padre Santiago», which compiles the author's work. Published in 2015.
For readers interested in Catholic spirituality who want to better understand the human and devotional figure of the Virgin Mary.
