«El Evangelio de los Esenios» is the spiritual essay by Edmond Bordeaux Székely, published by Editorial Sirio in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
The book gathers sayings of Jesus taken from Aramaic, the language shared by the master and his disciple John, who was responsible for recording them. The text comes from manuscripts in the Vatican Library and the Royal Library of the Habsburgs, and sets out the Essene doctrine, with the Mother and the Father in a central place as opposed to the patriarchal version of the gospels.
Volume 98 of Editorial Sirio's «2007» collection, published in November 2000. The original work dates from 1976.
For readers interested in spirituality, mysticism and religious currents alternative to institutional Christianity.
