«El canto de Eurídice» is the critical study by Filippo Giuseppe Di Bernardo on the poet Alda Merini (Arcibel Editores, paperback, 104 pages, Spanish).
The book brings together critical studies on the work of Alda Merini and analyses how her writing fuses soul and body with mythology, and the carnal with the transcendent. Di Bernardo examines verse as a manifestation of that union, the dialogue with the Orpheus myth and language, and situates the work within the genealogy of feminine writing and postmodernity.
Published in 2009 in Seville, the volume measures 22x15 cm.
It is aimed at literature students and readers interested in contemporary poetry, literary criticism and the work of Alda Merini.
