«El año que vimos nevar» is the autobiographical comic by Fermín Solís, published by Astiberri Ediciones in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Six stories follow Martín Mostaza, the author's childhood alter ego, in a nostalgic look at childhood: the first bicycle, street games, bonfires, or the first snowfall. The work focuses on the everyday and the small events that shape a common and universal character.
The work was published in 2005 within the Sillón Orejero collection by Astiberri. Fermín Solís won the Josep Toutain award for best new author at the Barcelona International Comic Fair in 2004.
Aimed at those around thirty who recognize with nostalgia the references of a childhood before video game consoles.
