«Drôle de samedi soir !» is the young adult short story book by Claude Klotz published by Le Livre de Poche Jeunesse in paperback (192 pages, in French).
The story that gives the book its title follows Harp, a ten-year-old boy obsessed with television and chicken with mayonnaise, who can get rid of four burglars on his own without tiring. The other two stories in the volume play with the unexpected: a gangster at the end of his career crosses paths with an unloved old woman, and a broken lift window turns an accountant into an international star.
Volume no. 216 of Le Livre de Poche Jeunesse, with illustrations by Boiry. The edition also includes the stories «Rue de la chance» and «Le mois de mai de monsieur Dobichon».
Recommended for readers aged 9 to 12 who enjoy humour and absurd situations.
