«Dones enamorades» is an anthology of short stories by María Jaen Calero, published by Edicions 62 in hardback (192 pages, in Catalan).
It brings together thirteen stories revolving around the «great mystery» of love, with female protagonists and a tone that oscillates between salvation and condemnation, the carnal and the spiritual, fleeting love and love that transforms or destroys. Names such as Joyce, Mansfield, Kundera, Hemingway, Rodoreda and Chekhov make up a reading that invites reflection and emotion.
The edition was published on 25 March 1998 in Barcelona and is part of the El Balancí collection.
Suitable for the general public, especially readers of short fiction and twentieth-century European literature.
