«Don Quijote de la Mancha» is the adaptation of Miguel de Cervantes's novel by Armonía Rodríguez, published by Seix Barral in paperback.
A brief adaptation in modern Spanish that narrates the adventures of an ingenious hidalgo who, accompanied by his faithful squire Sancho Panza, sets out in search of deeds; on his way, windmills seem like giants and chivalric fantasy blends with reality, with the humorous tone of Miguel de Cervantes's work.
Edition published in 1978, with 128 pages. Cervantes's original text was published in 1605.
Intended for young readers and for those approaching the classic for the first time in a brief version and in current language.
