«¡Dios mío voy a ser papá!» is the practical guide by Fabrice Florent, published by Ediciones Timeo in paperback (280 pages, in Spanish).
A twenty-eight-year-old man narrates, day by day, the nine months of his wife's pregnancy and his own: her belly grows while his paternal instinct awakens. Humour and love in everyday anecdotes, from comparing nappies to watching the pregnant woman with an ethnologist's eye. A close-up testimony on fatherhood.
The book comes from the blog where Fabrice Florent, editor-in-chief of madmoiZelle.com, recounted his emotions as a father-to-be. Published on 2 November 2009.
It appeals to fathers-to-be who want to laugh at the doubts and surprises of fatherhood, and to those looking for an original gift to announce a pregnancy.
