«Días sin ti» is the novel by Elvira Sastre, published by Editorial Planeta in paperback (264 pages, in Spanish).
The novel interweaves the life of Dora, who was a teacher in the days of the Republic, with that of her grandson Gael, a sculptor marked by a broken relationship. Dora confides in him the story that has made her who she is and, with tenderness and rawness, offers him the keys to recover from his wounds and understand that life and love are valuable because they end.
