«Diario inusitado de un tipo en desuso: Alarma por peste» is the contemporary novel by Jesús Tíscar Jandra in paperback (296 pages, in Spanish).
The author creates a homonymous alter ego who, adorned with anise and a diary, faces his confinement in a large house in Jaén. Halfway between dystopia and the grotesque, it tells a story that did not happen but could have been; it is also an exercise in language, a practical joke, a love story, and a confession.
First edition published on October 26, 2020, in Spain.
For readers of contemporary fiction with a taste for experimentation with language, humor, and dystopias.
