«Deter o día cunha flor» is the poetry collection by Luz Pozo Garza with illustrations by José Valentín, published by Baía Edicións in paperback (104 pages).
The book starts from the idea that poetry is spoken painting and painting is silent poetry. The poems by Luz Pozo Garza and the illustrations by José Valentín complement each other, drawing on the tradition of the illustrated Galician book, to create a work where image and word form a harmonious whole.
Published in 2009, this title belongs to the «Arte e escrita» collection from Baía Edicións; the text is written in Galician.
For readers of Galician poetry and for those who value the relationship between literature and illustration.
