Desinformación

Synopsis of Desinformación

«Desinformación: Cómo los medios ocultan el mundo» is Pascual Serrano's essay, published by Booket in paperback (720 pages, in Spanish).

Pascual Serrano analyses how the press and television news convey an incomplete or distorted picture of international current affairs. Drawing on recent events, he contrasts the dominant narrative with interviews with specialists, bibliography and alternative media to show that what happened does not always match what is reported.

With a foreword by Ignacio Ramonet, it belongs to Booket's Actualidad collection. Published in Spain on 12 September 2013.

For readers of essays and journalism interested in media criticism and how the news narrative is constructed.
