«Cuentos para jugar» is a collection of stories by Gianni Rodari, published by Alfaguara in paperback (163 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together short tales that invite the reader to participate: each story presents an open ending, and it is up to children to imagine and decide how the narrative continues. The edition includes illustrations that accompany the texts and reinforce the playful, creative tone of Rodari's proposal.
Work originally published as «Tante storie per giocare» (1971). This Spanish edition is a translation by Carmen Santos.
Suitable for child and young adult readers, especially those who enjoy taking part in stories.

Giovanni Francesco "Gianni" Rodari was an Italian writer and journalist, most famous for his works of children's literature, notably Il romanzo di Cipollino. For his lasting contribution as a children's author, he received the biennial Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 1970. He is considered Italy's most important 20th-century children's author, and his books have been translated into many languages, though few have been published in English.
