«Cuadernos de Temuco» is the collection of youthful poems by Pablo Neruda, published by Seix Barral in a paperback edition with a prologue by Víctor Farías (240 pages, in Spanish).
This work brings together poems written by Pablo Neruda in his youth in Temuco, Chile, between 1919 and 1920, which the author never published at the time. The verses, of intense lyricism, show the modernist heritage and echoes of the avant-gardes, and anticipate the maturity of his later poetry. The edition includes a study and prologue by Víctor Farías that contextualizes these notebooks within the trajectory of the Chilean poet.
The edition is part of the Biblioteca Breve collection from Seix Barral, published in 1997 in Barcelona.

Pablo Neruda was a Chilean poet-diplomat and politician who won the 1971 Nobel Prize in Literature. Neruda became known as a poet when he was 13 years old and wrote in a variety of styles, including surrealist poems, historical epics, political manifestos, a prose autobiography, and passionate love poems such as the ones in his collection Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair (1924).
