«Crónica negra» is the graphic novel by Miguel Ángel Martín, published by Midons Editorial in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
The volume collects the illustrations Miguel Ángel Martín created for the crime reports of the newspaper La Crónica de León. With an animated drawing style and expressive line, the images recreate characters and situations typical of crime fiction, with a murky and ironic atmosphere.
It was published in 1997; the illustrations come from one of Miguel Ángel Martín's first professional works, around 1986.
