«Crisi (d'ansietat)» is the graphic novel by Juanjo Sáez, published by Reservoir Books in paperback (320 pages, in Catalan).
The author turns his own personal crisis into the centre of a tragicomic graphic novel: his mother's illness and his father's redundancy coincide with the economic and spiritual crisis of the West. Through panels critical of the political class and the financial system, Sáez reflects how everything that gave a person security begins to wobble, combining tenderness and humour.
The book belongs to the Reservoir Gráfica collection.
Recommended for readers of autobiographical graphic novels seeking a critical and ironic look at the crisis and everyday life.
