«Cosa de bruixes» is the children's fantasy novel by Gemma Armengol i Morell, published by Cruïlla in paperback (128 pages, in Catalan).
Some witches, the Escanyabledes, condemn all girls to have a wart on their nose and, as punishment, end up turned into dolls that appear in cereal boxes. The spell is only broken with a kiss of love. Anastàsia and her apprentice Pocatraça thus arrive at Laia and Nicolau's house, where mishaps and adventures keep happening.
Number 180 of the El Vaixell de Vapor collection (El Barco de Vapor Naranja), with illustrations by Teresa Herrero Rived. Published in 2011.
For readers aged 9 to 12 who like fantasy, humour and witch stories.
