«Contra el viento del norte» is the romantic novel by Daniel Glattauer published by Punto de Lectura in paperback (344 pages, in Spanish).
A crossed email by mistake turns Leo Leike and Emmi, two strangers, into regular correspondents. What starts as a polite exchange becomes an intimate, addictive dialogue in which attraction grows without either making the first move to meet in person. The story explores whether virtual emotion can withstand a real encounter.
First instalment of the «Gut gegen Nordwind» series; originally published in German under that same title, it was shortlisted for the German Book Prize in 2006.
A novel aimed at readers aged 16 and over, especially fans of contemporary romance.
