«Cinco poetas de Coimbra» is the poetry anthology by Luis Quintais and Juan Vivanco Gefaell, published by Shantarin in hardback (148 pages).
It brings together five poets linked to Coimbra —D. Dinis, Sá de Miranda, Antero de Quental, Camilo Pessanha and Fernando Assis Pacheco— in a journey through centuries of Portuguese literature. Luis Quintais's selection highlights the bond between the city and its lyrical tradition, from medieval songbooks to verses about childhood and youth.
The Shantarin edition, published in July 2022, presents the texts in Portuguese and Spanish; it includes selection and introduction by Luis Quintais and translation by Juan Vivanco Gefaell.
For lovers of Portuguese poetry who want to explore the link between literature and the city of Coimbra.
