«Chorromoco 91» is the humour novel by Pepe Colubi, published by Ediciones Martínez Roca in paperback (352 pages, in Spanish).
As the 1980s fade and an uncertain decade begins, Pepe, a lost, confused and bewildered twentysomething, pretends to study Philology to make the most of the English he learned in California, does odd jobs and devotes himself steadfastly to bars, beer, music and female rejection. His university, romantic and partying adventures make up an unclassifiable comedy about the experiences one lives and those one always misses.
It is the author's second novel, after «California 83», and is part of the MR Narrativa collection.
Recommended for readers looking for generational humour about 1990s Spain and for fans of Pepe Colubi, known for the programme «Ilustres Ignorantes».
