«Cesc (Sin palabras)» is the humour comic by Francesc Vila Rufas (Cesc), published by Astiberri Ediciones in paperback (208 pages, in Spanish).
Anthology of wordless drawings by Barcelona-born Cesc, in the observational tradition of Sempé and Steinberg. He draws children and ordinary people with tenderness, especially those in modest trades, and directs his critique against power, banality and bureaucracy. A friendly line with forceful messages and great poetic ability to synthesise ideas without text.
The title belongs to Astiberri's Kili Kili collection and was published in 2013. The black-and-white edition features a selection by Jordi Duró.
For fans of graphic humour and the observational cartoon, with an interest in social criticism expressed through drawing.
