«Certificado C99+» is the science fiction novel by Lluís Hernàndez i Sonali, published by La Galera in hardback (160 pages, in Spanish).
A scientific discovery based on the energy of black holes makes it possible to know whether a person will still be alive in the future. That certainty transforms everyday life, regulated by the Single Certificate Law and watched over by the Corporation, until some pieces that do not fit threaten to bring down the system and the future of humanity.
Translated from Catalan by Paulino Rodríguez, it belongs to La Galera's Narrativa singular collection. Winner of the Premi Josep Maria Folch i Torres 2007.
For young readers aged 14 to 16, especially those interested in science fiction with ethical and social dilemmas.
