Synopsis of Causa de muerte

Seventh installment of the Dr. Kay Scarpetta series. This time, Dr. Scarpetta faces the investigation of the body of a journalist, Theodore Andrew Edding, found dead underwater. As she progresses in the investigation, Scarpetta encounters a series of strange events, such as phone calls from someone impersonating an identity, suspicious behavior from detectives, and sabotage of her belongings. To resolve this chaos, Scarpetta dedicates herself to what she does best: locking herself in her laboratory and investigating every clue.
