«Caure amunt: Muntaner, Llull, Roig» is the theatre volume by Francesc Serés, published by Quaderns Crema in paperback (280 pages, in Catalan).
Three plays imagine Ramon Muntaner, Ramon Llull and Jaume Roig at crossroads: the chronicler who defies the king, an old Llull returning from the land of infidels, and Jaume Roig with a witch at home. Serés builds scenarios where historical narrative, the gaze on women, and cultural and religious otherness become dramatic material.
Volume 170 of the Biblioteca Mínima collection. Francesc Serés (Saidí, 1972) is the author, among other works, of the trilogy De fems i de marbres and La força de la gravetat.
Aimed at readers of contemporary theatre and Catalan literature interested in the reinterpretation of medieval authors.
