«Castillos de hielo» is the photo-novel by Gary L. Baim based on the 1979 film of the same name, published by Bruguera in paperback and in Spanish.
It tells the story of a young figure skater who dreams of reaching the top of the sport and whose career is marked by a hard blow of fate. Through photographs from the film and its dialogues, the photo-novel follows her effort to regain confidence and skate again, in a tale about willpower and personal overcoming.
It adapts the American feature film Ice Castles (1979), produced by Columbia Pictures and starring Lynn-Holly Johnson and Robby Benson.
For fans of classic 1970s cinema and collectors of photo-novels.
