«Casino» is the non-fiction work by Nicholas Pileggi, published by Grijalbo Mondadori in paperback (293 pages, in Spanish).
The book recounts how Frank «Lefty» Rosenthal and Anthony «the Ant» Spilotro settle in Las Vegas to control gambling and betting on behalf of the mob. Lefty dominates the business with mathematical precision, Tony imposes his violence, and the arrival of Geri and the convictions of organized crime bosses bring down the desert empire.
The Spanish translation is by Carme Geronès Planagumà and Carles Urritz Geli, for the 1996 Grijalbo Mondadori edition.
For fans of criminal non-fiction and real stories of the mob, gambling and Las Vegas.
