«Carla. Un dia de compres» is the children's story by José Luis Ágreda, published by Estrella Polar in hardback (32 pages, in Catalan).
Carla is a fun, curious and imaginative girl. In winter she goes with her family to buy gloves, tries on everyone's and imagines what she would do with hands as big as her father's or as small as Tet's. She discovers that her famous giggling tickles only work with her own hands, and that being who she is has advantages.
It belongs to the Carla children's series by José Luis Ágreda; the back cover cites other titles in the collection, such as «Qui m'estima més?» and «Vull quedar-me al pati».
Suitable for early readers, with a short story and illustrations, and for starting to read in Catalan.
