«Cábala: Amor» is the poetry collection by Elena Beatriz Flores Gómez, published by Editorial La Calle in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
The author turns the characters of Judeo-Christian mythology into polygenetic masks, spokespeople for those who have suffered centuries of repression. Homoeroticism runs through the work, whose denunciation of labels culminates on Mount Sacrolujurio; there Lilith, a vindicative figure, leads a runway that accommodates all loves and sexes.
First edition published in Spain in December 2016.
For readers of contemporary poetry seeking a queer and vindicative rereading of Judeo-Christian myths.
