«Buscaré el océano» is Carrie Ryan's young adult zombie horror novel, published by Círculo de Lectores in paperback (314 pages, in Spanish).
In a village enclosed by a wire fence, Mary has always obeyed the Brotherhood and believes the forest is full of the Unconsecrated, the hungry dead who return. The arrival of a girl from outside makes her question the rules of her world; her bond with Travis may push her to seek the ocean her mother spoke of.
First installment of the series The Forest of Hands and Teeth; the original English work appeared in 2009.
For young and adult readers who enjoy dystopias, zombies, and romances in post-apocalyptic worlds.
