«Buc» is a children's book by Antoni Arca i Alguer, published by La Galera in paperback (96 pages, in Catalan).
Mariolino, a boy who lives in a wheelchair, has a very good hand at playing cards. A game makes him win a little dog named Buc, and that little animal will fill his life. His family is not one from the movies, which gives the story a close and real tone.
Published in 2000 in the Grumets collection (blue series, number 113). Includes illustrations by Miquel Zueras.
Recommended for readers aged 12 and up, especially for those who enjoy stories of friendship between a boy and his dog.
