«Bon anniversaire !» is the children's storybook by Jean-Philippe Arrou-Vignod, published by Folio Junior in paperback (80 pages, in French).
Xavier turns ten and, to his bewilderment, no one seems to remember: not his parents, not his sister, not his friends. In six birthday stories, Jean-Philippe Arrou-Vignod portrays with humour and sensitivity the small joys and frustrations of childhood, from his classmates' birthdays to his grandmother's golden wedding anniversary.
The work was originally published in 2002 as «Bon anniversaires!», with illustrations by Dominique Corbasson.
Recommended for readers aged 9 to 13, with short stories combining humour and emotion.
