«Beti mugan» is the historical novel by Ruben Ruiz Perez, published by Elkar in paperback (256 pages, in Basque).
During World War II, the Comète network helped Allied airmen and refugees cross the Basque border to escape the Germans. That real story intersects with Mattin, an orphan taken in at Baztán by his smuggler uncle; the novel combines adventure and documented facts.
It is number 58 in the Ateko bandan collection and was published in September 2022.
For Basque-speaking readers interested in historical fiction and adventure stories based on World War II.
