«Ben en el mundo» is the novel by Doris Lessing, published by Punto de Lectura S.L. in paperback (272 pages, in Spanish).
The novel follows Ben Lovatt, now an adult, on his difficult journey through the margins of society: the homeless, the undocumented and the despised. Lessing shows a vulnerable yet dangerous man, whose unusual identity arouses panic, curiosity or compassion, and reflects on the rejection that difference provokes.
It continues the story of Ben Lovatt, protagonist of «El quinto hijo». Doris Lessing received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2007.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in the portrayal of social marginalization and in the narrative of Doris Lessing.
