«Behind Closed Doors» is the suspense and family drama novel by Susan Lewis, published by Arrow in paperback (400 pages, in English).
When fourteen-year-old Sophie Monroe disappears one night, everything points to a voluntary runaway: she has taken her mobile, computer and clothes. But the police investigation reveals community secrets. For detective Andrea Lawrence, the case reopens the tragedy that tore her family apart over twenty years ago.
The novel is the first instalment of the detective Andee Lawrence series.
For readers of contemporary suspense and family drama, in the vein of Jodi Picoult or Lesley Pearse.
