«Aznarografia» is the satirical humour comic by Xavier Graset and Andreu Faro, published by Cossetània Edicions in paperback (120 pages, in Catalan).
The book ironically reviews the eight years of José María Aznar's government at the head of the Spanish executive. With drawings by Andreu Faro and texts by Xavier Graset, episodes such as the Prestige, the Iraq war, the wedding of the president's daughter, the oil spill, the AVE or the Perejil crisis pass by. The authors' thesis is that the best antidote for interpreting someone who has exercised power is humour, filtering the events of the Aznar President era.
Part of the Tinta Tonta collection, number 3. 2004 edition, paperback.
Suitable for readers interested in recent Spanish politics and graphic satire in Catalan, with caricatures that require no prior knowledge of the period's current affairs.
